Valio-Vache Bleue is part of the Valio dairy cooperative, a Finnish multinational with a lead position on its local market. New products are always ahead of the market. These include the recently launched Zero Lactose range.

We were commissioned to design the packaging and structure the launch campaign.

The result
The packaging for the range presents a typically Finnish nature landscape. Vivid colours and high-impact graphics make it easy to recognize on the shop shelf.

For the launch campaign, aimed at people with lactose intolerance or its symptoms, the media plan was directed at visibility and repetition. The High 5 option from Métro was the obvious choice: 5 creative formats during one week, ideal for a ‘teaser’ type communication. The fifth ad was a Top Topical, highlighting lactose intolerance concurrently with the International Day for Tolerance. This latter format also took a Top Topicals 2008 award in the 'foreseeable events' category.

This campaign, with an effective, eye-grabbing launch, contributed to the considerable increase in Zero Lactose sales.
