AutoDistribution International SA (ADI) represents over 500 car parts distributors, constituting a network of some 2000 POS in 26 countries. A convention is organized every year to facilitate meetings between partners and suppliers.
ADI commissioned us to design the event and manage the invitations to it.
The result
The special convention event was based on a coaching session by tennis star Justine Henin and coach Carlos Rodriguez. The objective was evidently to create participant surprise.
Various activities were planned to achieve this, including sending out teaser invitations with a tennis theme.
Mailing no. 1: “What sort of surface do you have a predilection for?”
Here the participant receives a test tube of crushed brick. This is Justine Henin’s favourite surface.
Mailing no. 2: “Give it all you got to be the best in the competition.”
The participant receives a wristband, symbolizing effort, and the struggle to be the best.
Mailing no. 3: “You have match point”.
The participant receives an entry ticket for the central court, with the seminar room laid out as a tennis court.
